Through our work with Battaglia & Associates, Gerard Place has secured the funding to complete a $6,000,000 renovation of the former St. Gerard Parish Hall into an Education and Community Center. They continue to work with us to provide funding for the workforce development and family support services offered there. Marie and her team work closely with us to consider emerging needs, identify the best funding prospects to meet those needs, and deliver proposals that ensure we are able to continue helping families to overcome barriers to independence here in Buffalo.
We have worked with Battaglia & Associates, Grants for Growth for more than 20 years and during that time, have secured more than $20,000,000 to support youth services and after-school programs in all of our sites. Their knowledge of both funders and our programs has enabled us to provide consistent, high-quality youth services to some of Western New York’s most disadvantaged youth.
Battaglia & Associates, Grants for Growth has helped us to fund key initiatives in early literacy, after-school programming, counseling, school safety, school reform, teacher quality improvement, strengthening math and science education, prekindergarten expansion, increasing college readiness and preparation for high-needs students, technology, family support programs, and many others. Our district has received over $40,000,000 in competitive grant funding over more than 20 years as a result of their work on our behalf.
